IM Academy

IM Academy was founded by Isis De La Torre and Christopher Terry in 2013. Their goal was to provide Forex Trading lessons accessibly and interactively and have the vision to deliver an online platform to train these skills. It is a corporation that is headed in New York and registered legally.

IM Academy uses a remote working model, which enables them to save money on real estate expenses and to hire quality talent from any location, hence helping to operate efficiently and non-interruptedly even during hard times: focusing on its mission which is to offer quality forex trading education.

Its core products are called Academies, which are learning modules. They consist of distinct training programs, such as, FRX Academy, HFX Academy, DCX Academy, and ECX Academy. The learning modules consist of informational videos and golive sessions. The Informational videos provide basic knowledge of forex trading concepts and methodology, whereas, in the goLive sessions, students work directly with the educators, where they get to ask questions and get into discussions. The goLive sessions are offered in 13 languages and at varied times accommodating those in different geographical time zones. IM Academy gets new customers through referrals from one of their students or an IBO (Independent Business Owner). The IBOs are their independent sales representatives, not their employees, who sell their products and services, recruit members and then are compensated via commission. IM Academy carries its operations through a website, whereby customers and IBOs can access it. An IBO becomes part of IM by paying a registration fee and making monthly payments; the IBO then gets access to the back office, which has the necessary tools and a marketing aspect that assists in managing and promoting the business.
