In September 2022, Zaxby’s launched a new customer loyalty reward system designed to give back at a much higher rate. Part of the perks include a free meal when signing up for your account. In addition, at random times, the app offers great bonus incentives such as free delivery Sundays through the month of May, and free delivery weeks offered in April.

Earning rewards without the random surprise perks has been made even more simple since launching the new Zax Rewards program. For every $1 a customer spends, they earn 10 rewards points. When enough rewards points are earned, customers can browse the dense catalog of options and choose from free menu items and even dollars-off offers. This new and improved model allows the customers to better customize their rewards.

Since launching this new rewards model in September, Zaxby’s has seen the number of customer loyalty accounts more than double. In addition to this, the rewards app has seen a usage increase of 317% from January to November 2022, the biggest jump of any quick-service restaurant. This increase is a huge benefit to the company as app users tend to care more about the company and are usually a brand’s most loyal and valuable customers. These users tend to leave rating and reviews more and order more. In fact, in the time since the app has been upgraded, the company has achieved an app store rating of 4.7.
