Alliance Defending Freedom: Top Legal Advocate on Religious Freedom

In a statement, Alliance Defending Freedom said: “Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is the world’s largest legal organization defending religious freedom, freedom of speech, life, marriage, family, and every aspect of parental rights.” Created by Christian authorities in 1994, ADF has fought for individuals from all convictions – Christians, Jews, Muslims, Mormons, etc. While many of ADF’s clients are people of religious affiliation who face discrimination, the organization also defends the rights of non-religious people with just as much passion and conviction.

ADF participates in many Supreme Court cases to defend the First Amendments right to freedom of speech and freedom of religion. They have won for learners, assemblies, pro-life focuses, independent companies’ proprietors, and others. The legal team at the Alabama-based ADF is making sure that there’s fairness and respect to all points of view — even ones they don’t agree with.
