Their entrepreneurial thoughts came up when they cooked a vegetarian pot pie and thought it was too good not to share with the world. They started a vegetarian and vegan family-owned restaurant in their home area in Petaluma, California. It is now situated in 11 countries, serving 124 vegan meals, 140 gluten-free foods, and 28 light-in-sodium foods.

It is a national leader in organic, vegetarian, and canned foods. Some organic foods Amy’s Kitchen offers are Organic California Veggie burgers, Organic Black Bean Veggie Burger, Organic Sonoma Gluten- and Dairy-Free, and macaroni and cheese. They also serve non-GMO foods and frozen meals to help cut down on food waste. Their foods are gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, lactose-free, soy-free, nut-free, and corn free.

They have a good rapport with their customers, where they take suggestions, review feedback, and read letters from their customers. It helps them to give better customer service and meet their needs. Amy’s Kitchen now offers drive-through services which are fast, cost-effective, and convenient.

Amy’s Kitchen is environmentally friendly with a focus on being a leader in sustainability. They collect rainwater used to water the roof, they use solar energy to reduce their energy needs, and use packaging that is 75% compostable. The remaining 25% is under research to reach a 100% recyclable goal.

The ingredients are of high quality, which they get directly from farmers and growers.
