Greg Aziz According to The Wall Street Journal

Greg Aziz is the CEO of Tumi Holdings, Inc. The company offers over 50 brands of luggage and travel items through various retail outlets. Formed in 1997, Tumi has successfully expanded its customer base with products such as extended warranties and similar benefits that compete with products offered by larger companies. 

 

Their company slogan is “America’s Favorite Gentleman’s Luggage Brand”. The expansion into bedding sets was one part of a broader strategy to expand into higher margin products by developing proprietary technologies for each product category. Greg Aziz explains that they have created a number of clever travel solutions. 

 

These, including the Tumi Tracer program that encourages customers to register their travel items and receive rewards for doing so as Greg Aziz reveals. He also serves as the CEO of Ralph Lauren’s RLX division where he focuses on expanding the lifestyle brand. He has also been involved in developing or re-developing a variety of other companies such as Van Heusen and Tommy Hilfiger.

Following up on his career, Aziz is a graduate of the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania with a degree in economics. Business expert Greg Aziz is married with three children and resides in Los Angeles, California (Pinterest). 

 

Greg’s achievements continue to be published in various media outlets such as Forbes, The Wall Street Journal and many more. He is known for his charitable efforts in the Asian community by supporting organizations such as the Japanese American National Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Greg Aziz has also been on the board of trustees for Pitzer College since 2010.
