Trading Expert Ross Cameron – Founder of Warrior Trading

Ross Cameron is the founder of Warrior Trading. Ross is a day trader and in this episode, he shares his insights on the current market, what type of trading works best for him, how to manage daily feelings on the market and more. Ross started day trading in 1992 when he was contracting to IBM.

IBM was bought out by PricewaterhouseCoopers as his contract ended as Ross Cameron recalls. He wanted to trade so he started developing his skills with an office mate at IBM who had been doing it for a while. He started with a single order and eventually moved to 1/2 of his account on VIX and the other 1/2 on the SP500.

He also started looking at some other markets, so he picked up some charts on gold, oil and wheat. He ended up noticing how these commodity futures were being traded by many different brokers and this is when he started trading CFD’s (Contract For Difference) against these futures. These and more are the achievements Ross Cameron has made within the day trading industry.

This led him to start trading in the Bitcoin exchange market. He noticed that there was a lot of trading activity on the various exchanges, so he started thinking about how to trade Bitcoin against the USD. Ross Cameron then started using some of the same methods in this market as he was using in other markets. One thing Ross learned early on is that it’s not necessarily the most accurate indicators that are most profitable.
